SES are also electrical contractors and undertake all aspects of electrical installations. We are experienced in domestic, commercial and industrial installations. Our main focus of work is currently domestic new build properties consisting of entire housing estates, one off re-wires and bespoke executive developments. This is not to say that if you have a smaller job and you need a reliable electrician then we would not be interested. SES can design, install & commission MVHR (mechanical ventilation heat recovery) systems.

MVHR units remove stale air from bathrooms/toilets/kitchens recover the heat through an exchanger, which is used to heat clean fresh air drawn in from the atmosphere to supply bedrooms, living areas etc. The stale and now cold air is expelled to atmosphere through another vent. The MVHR unit is normally located in a loft area and is in constant use to continually ventilate a home, there are boost facilities for stale air rooms which at times of use will require more extraction to remove odours and steam.

Once the installation is complete and the house near completion with all doors, windows etc fitted the MVHR can be balanced and commissioned by our engineer. A flow meter is used to adjust the vent in each room to supply or exhaust the optimum volume of air in accordance with designs and specifications. After commissioning all the paperwork, certificates and handover packs can be generated to satisfy building control and help achieve Code 3 for sustainable homes and user guides/maintenance details provided for the end user.
